![]() ![]() There was something special about Galilee in the mind of Christ. Why have us go to Galilee, however? Why not just tell us in Jerusalem? There he told us to meet him in Galilee, where he will give them his parting instructions. But three days later, he surprised us with His resurrection in Jerusalem. We watched him be taken from us and crucified before we scattered in fear. We thought we lost him - the one whose care and love had meant so much to us these past three years. ![]() We have heard his teachings and been pierced to the heart by them. We have seen him give sight to the blind, make the lame walk and heal the leper. Initially, we thought he was a good teacher, but we have come to believe that he is the very Son of God. We have been following this man Jesus for three years. Let’s put ourselves in the shoes of the 11 disciples. “Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee…” – Matthew 28:16a ![]()
